With Valentine’s Day just around the corner it seemed fitting to post one of our most romantic weddings ever. Congratulations to Silvana and Stephen! Their wedding was bursting with beautiful blooms in the rose garden ceremony at Lyndhurst Castle, pretty petals on every table, and traces of beautiful love sonnets found here and there. Every detail of this wedding spoke to my heart. We are delighted for the happy couple and are down right giddy over the soon to be delivered wedding album!
The ring carrier was personalized with a quote from the greatest love song there ever was. “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” – Song of Solomon 6:3
Dazzling Jimmy Choo wedding shoes.
The Castle Hotel in Tarrytown is a stunningly beautiful backdrop for the brides and her maids. I love how well the blush colors of the bridesmaids dresses compliment all the flowers.
Silvana with her mom and sister, just about ready to start the festivities.
The anticipation during getting ready is one of the most excited moments of every wedding.
The Lyndhurst Castle in all it’s glory, the perfect setting for a romantic wedding. What a dream!
What a delight for the guests to sit in the garden with the beautiful music of the Dulce Ensemble filling the air. Can you just imagine? I am so ready for summer 🙂
Wow, the flower girls blossoming headpiece is precious.
I love the circular setup for the ceremony. The couple is surrounded on all sides by their loved ones.
Silvana wanted dinner to feel like an extension to spending the afternoon in the rose garden. What a fabulous job done by Weddings by Debra Thompson on the decor. They truly made Silvana’s vision come to life in the most beautiful way.
With a few bare wooden tables there was the perfect mix of elegance and a rustic nature.
Sunset came at the perfect time for the couple to step out for a few sun-kissed portraits with the Lyndhurst Castle in the backdrop.
Their first dance was to “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King. And their cake topper was a lovely wooden portrait of the bride, groom and their pets.
Silvana danced the Tango with her Uncle/Godfather to honor her late Grandmother.
And what other way to wrap up the night than with a sparkling send off by all your loved ones!
From the bride…
“Our ceremony took place in the beautiful rose garden and we wanted to carry that feeling into the reception space. We chose long rectangular tables to foster a dinner party vibe. We wanted dinner to feel like an extension of spending an afternoon in the rose garden on a beautiful June day, while maintaining a sense of elegance and old world charm. We brought in crystal chandeliers and used Jo Malone Rose scented room spray in the reception tent to help create the ambiance. Music was a very important element to the couple. They had a string quartet for the ceremony and a Spanish guitar duo played flamenco inspired music for the cocktail hour. The DJ rocked the house for the reception. The custom cake topper included the bride and groom and their four furry kids (3 cats and a dog). In addition to the traditional wedding dances, the bride danced a tango with her uncle/godfather in memory of her late grandmother. The bride had two blue hearts embroidered over her heart on the inside of her dress using fabric from a piece of clothing from each of her parents.”
